Week 3

Task 1:
One of the things that i would like to improve would have to be finishing. I am the type of person who thinks that if they remember something then i will be able to finish it the next day, when i should really just go ahead and finish it. It really doesn't help me with what i need to do especially if i am behind in the class and i am still putting off an assignment saying that i will maybe finish it at home knowing that i won't, or even saying that i will remember it and do it first thing tomorrow. I had even gotten to the point to where i would put assignments off and never even go back and do them, i would more than likely start on something else unless the teacher has reminded me that i still have an assignment that i haven't finish but even once they remind me i still tend to put it off. Why? because i have forgotten the information that i said i was going to remember the next day.

Task 2:
A) Some of the things that i can do to improve my note taking skills is to look over my notes from the previous day because when you start class some teachers find it necessary to ask questions about what they talked about the day before. So if they ask a question i would be prepared. Being prepared is one of the other things that i can improve i am always prepared to take notes but sometime i have to ask others for pen, or paper, so i need to be able to provide my own materials for taking notes so that i won't interrupt a classmate who is taking notes because i am asking for a piece of paper. Be on time sometime the first thing you do in class is take notes and i could be running late to late because either i had car trouble or i am standing in the hall talking with some friends. So I'm late to class and i have missed part of the notes so that means that i have to ask a classmate to let me see there notes and try to catch up. Another one would be to ask questions, i NEVER ask questions when taking notes i always wait until someone else asks a question and then just go from there and sometimes the question that they ask happens not be my question but sometimes it does. And my last one would be checking with other students to see if we have the same thing so that i will be looking over the right thing.

B) I honestly think that i am somewhat a big procrastinator. And why because some of the thing that they listed i have a habit of doing. Except a few i don't put off assignments because i think that i am going to fail them i put them off because i want to do other things besides schoolwork. I do however start an assignment and say that i am going to finish it but never do. I do put off assignments that i don't like i will do anything in my power not to work on something that i have no interest in or maybe it won't be because i have no interest it may be because i am confused and don't want to ask questions about it. And sometime i start an assignment and stop and then start on another one which won't help me in the long run because i need to finish one and then complete the other.
My Service Learning This far:
Well much really hasn't changed beside that we have gottne more kids and sometime between now and next week we will be dealing with just infants and toddlers will be across the hall. i think i am really going to enjoy that.
